Dark Shadows (1966–1971) is ABC's gothic soap opera you can watch online on iFILM. Governess Victoria Winters arrives at the Collinwood estate in Maine and is almost instantly pulled under by the secrets of the Collins family.

At first it plays as an ordinary daytime drama. Then, months into the run, ghosts walk on — and soon Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid), a two-hundred-year-old vampire bound by an old curse, climbs out of the family crypt. From there the show breaks loose: the witch Angelique, werewolves, time travel, a parallel universe. A small troupe of actors covers many parts at once, with Grayson Hall and Joan Bennett carrying viewers from one era to the next.

Dan Curtis created the series, and his suffering vampire Barnabas reshaped what daytime television dared to show. More than twelve hundred episodes turned it into a cult object that raised generations and seeded waves of later horror.
