Dickinson Season 2 — watch all ten episodes online on iFILM, where Apple TV+'s anachronistic period comedy takes its sharpest turn yet. 2021, and Emily steps out of her private literary world into the uncomfortable territory of being seen.
The whole season runs on a single question: what does a poet actually owe the public? Sue introduces Emily to Sam Bowles, a newspaper editor who wants to publish women writers. Emily can't decide — she runs a séance for guidance, falls into writer's block, gets an accidental taste of local celebrity at a baking contest and recoils from it, then finally sees her poem printed in Sam's paper. The result is the opposite of what she expected: publication makes her invisible to the people around her rather than seen by them. The season ends with Emily trying to take her poems back.
Season 2 lands harder than the first because the obstacle is no longer her father. It's her own ambition. Stream Dickinson Season 2 online on iFILM.
