Season 1
Eat or be eaten.
Synopsis
Delicious in Dungeon (Dungeon Meshi, 2024), Season 1 is the watch-online pick on iFILM for fantasy fans — a 24-episode anime from studio Trigger, adapted from Ryoko Kui's manga. The rule of the season: eat or be eaten.
It starts with a defeat. Knight Laios loses to a red dragon that swallows his sister Falin whole, and his party is too broke to restock before going back down. So Laios, the mage Marcille, and the lockpicker Chilchuck head into the dungeon and live off whatever monsters they kill. They pick up Senshi, a dwarf who treats the place as a pantry — basilisk roast, mimic stew, griffin soup. The first half runs on that cooking; the second turns into a race toward Falin and a resurrection magic that costs far more than anyone bargained for.
What sets it apart is that the recipes aren't a gag: every creature is broken down like a real ingredient. A good fit if you like slow-burn adventure where the fight and the meal matter equally. Stream Delicious in Dungeon Season 1 online on iFILM.
