Synopsis

Season 4 of Dirty Jobs (2005) runs twenty-six episodes of Discovery reality you can watch online on iFILM, the longest stretch host Mike Rowe has signed up for yet.

The 2008 run drags Rowe onto a St. Louis steel mill floor where scrap is melted into molten metal, then out to open ocean hunting slime eels. He plays midwife to dairy cows in Indiana, inseminates turkeys, traps leeches for bait, raises maggots on an Idaho farm, and hauls a car up through the ice of a Minnesota lake. A green thread runs underneath it all — wind farms in Oklahoma, an Alaskan oil spill, sinkholes packed with garbage.

One idea keeps surfacing across the season: before anything turns green, somebody has to get filthy first. It's the show's widest spread of trades so far, from Alaska to South Carolina. Stream Dirty Jobs Season 4 online on iFILM.
