Synopsis

By its fifth season Dirty Jobs (2005) reaches host Mike Rowe's 200th filthy gig — twenty-three episodes you can watch online on iFILM.

That milestone job is building locomotives in Idaho, though the muck never depends on round numbers. Rowe milks desert spiders for venom in Arizona, clocks in at the country's only camel dairy, wades into the La Brea Tar Pits to work Pit 91, breeds sled huskies with musher Martin Buser, and grunts worms out of the ground in a Florida forest. Between trips: animal rendering, mattress recycling, the windows of a high-rise.

This run looks back more than the others — Rowe revisits his most dangerous shifts and argues, only half joking, that on jobs like these safety comes third. The map stretches from Hawaii to Pennsylvania. Stream Dirty Jobs Season 5 online on iFILM.
