Synopsis
Ordinary People (동네사람들, 2018) is a Korean action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. After a scandal blows up his career, boxer Ki-cheol hangs up the gloves and takes a job as a gym teacher at a rural girls' school. The town looks sleepy and dull — until he learns a student vanished here not long ago, and no adult seems to care.
The school is busier chasing unpaid tuition, the police shrug it off, and only the missing girl's friend refuses to call it a coincidence. Ki-cheol agrees to help, and soon realizes the disappearance isn't the work of one man but a whole village covering for itself, everyone hiding something. The tagline says it plainly: trust no one. Ma Dong-seok throws the punches, Kim Sae-ron plays the stubborn schoolgirl, and the search hardens into a brutal small-town crime story. A solid 99-minute genre piece for fans of blunt Korean action.
