Synopsis
Cross the Line (No matarás, 2020) is a taut Spanish thriller directed by David Victori — stream it online on iFILM. Dani is a quiet, decent man fresh out of grief after losing his father. His plan: round-the-world trip, clean break, new life.
The night before he leaves, he meets Mila. By morning there's a jealous ex in the picture, a confrontation Dani never asked for, and a body. Mario Casas plays Dani as someone whose instinct for self-preservation turns out to be stronger — and darker — than he ever suspected. The film spends its second half watching him make one decision after another, each slightly worse than the last.
Victori keeps the pace tight across the 92-minute runtime, relying more on psychological pressure than action set pieces. It's the kind of crime thriller where the real question isn't whether the protagonist will be caught — it's whether there's anything left of who he was once he's not.
