This chapter follows Hale — a young woman whose unsettling stillness and odd behavior mark her from the beginning — living in a historic house in Nevşehir with her mother, grandmother, and aunt Azra.

Her father disappeared before she was born and was never found. The nightmares she keeps having are not random — they point toward an old, abandoned house. The series name draws from Islamic mythology, where "siccîn" refers to the register of dark deeds; the franchise has stayed true to that dread across all five films.
