Synopsis
One Day at a Time (2017), Season 1 is a Netflix sitcom you can watch online on iFILM — thirteen episodes about a Cuban-American household in Los Angeles.
Penelope is an Army veteran and nurse raising two kids on her own for the first time, with her larger-than-life mother Lydia under the same roof. The whole season builds toward a quinceañera for fifteen-year-old Elena, who'd rather skip the tradition than honor it. Penelope wades back into dating, fights the Veterans Affairs phone tree, and slowly clocks that her daughter is working up to a confession. Then her estranged husband Victor turns up and reshuffles everyone's plans.
