Synopsis
The Upshaws (2021) is a working-class family sitcom you can watch online on iFILM. Set in Indianapolis, it follows a Black household figuring out money, marriage and grown-up life with no manual to go by.
Bennie Upshaw runs an auto shop, means well, and trips over his own mistakes constantly. Mike Epps plays him. Across from him sit his steady wife Regina (Kim Fields) and his sharp-tongued sister-in-law Lucretia, played by Wanda Sykes, who walks off with most of the best lines. The kids keep growing up, old flames keep resurfacing, the bills keep piling. Fight, make up, fight again — and somewhere in the noise it's clear this family actually loves each other.
