In the Dark (2019) is an American drama-comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. Murphy, played by Perry Mattfeld, is blind, self-destructive, and the last person anyone would put in charge of finding a killer — which is exactly what she ends up doing when her friend Tyson, a drug dealer she actually cared about, turns up dead one night. Then the body disappears. The police decide she imagined it.

Murphy investigates anyway, guided by her dog Pretzel and driven less by moral conviction than by sheer refusal to let it go. Rich Sommer plays her long-suffering friend Josh, Morgan Krantz is her complicated roommate, and the series keeps enough dark comedy in the mix to make Murphy's catastrophic decision-making feel funny right up until it isn't. The show aired on The CW and ran for four seasons, growing darker and more serialized as it went.
