The Escort

The Escort (2015) is a breezy romantic dramedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Will Slocombe. Mitch is a fired journalist who also can't get his sex addiction under control. To claw his way back into the business he needs a story with a hook, and he lands on one: the world of high-end escorts.

His subject is Natalie (Lyndsy Fonseca), a Stanford grad who works as a pricey escort and treats the job with more clear eyes than anyone around her. Mitch tags along to clients, hotels and parties, building his piece. Predictably, the more he sees Natalie as a person, the less she reads to him as copy — and she's in no hurry to let anyone get close.

Bruce Campbell shows up as Mitch's father, with Rumer Willis in a supporting turn. Eighty-eight minutes that don't reach for depth: easy, charming, carried by banter and the two leads' chemistry.
