Season 2

Baki learns that as a single man and a mortician, he has little chance of gaining custody of the orphans. Determined to keep them with him, he decides to change jobs.

Learning that there's no one to replace him, Baki is unsure of his next move. When Hande and Merdan find out the new mortician is single, they try to convince Baki to talk to her.

Baki rents out his late friend’s house to Nihan, but with strict rules. At the municipality’s request, they attend the former muhtar’s death anniversary together.

Baki receives news that time is running out to secure the children’s custody. Without the municipality’s knowledge, Merdan takes Nihan and Baki to a funeral home.

Baki hesitates to attend his grandmother’s funeral, still wounded by her past rejection. Nihan convinces him to go, but at the funeral, Baki confronts the family that once abandoned him and uncovers a devastating truth about his past.

Baki worries about the adoption of two orphans by prospective parents and secretly plans to meet them. He and Nihan visit his biological mother, stirring mixed feelings. Their shared pain draws them closer with an unexpected question.

Baki’s preparations for a marriage of convenience are cut short by a funeral brought to the mortuary. After what happens there, he leaves with a genuine desire for marriage, not a white one.

The mayor holds a meeting with the mortuary staff, urging them to focus on "customer satisfaction." Nihan and Baki are unsure how to handle the Christian couple brought to the mortuary.

While Baki searches for daisies to cheer up Nihan, she witnesses an unusual mourning and a sudden birth that shake her view of life and death.

Nihan sinks into deep depression, refusing to leave home for days. One of three bodies brought to the mortuary unexpectedly belongs to someone close. Baki finds out what he must do to get Nihan out of the house.
