Abzurdah

Abzurdah (2015) is an Argentine drama you can watch online on iFILM. Adapted from Cielo Latini's autobiographical book, it follows a sixteen-year-old who meets a much older man online and lets a brief affair pull her into obsession.

Feeling unseen at home and at school, she turns the one thing she can control, her own body, into a weapon against herself, and counting calories curdles into illness. Eugenia Suárez plays the descent without gloss, tracking each step with bruising precision, while Esteban Lamothe is the older man whose presence speeds the unraveling. Making her feature debut, Daniela Goggi shoots it small and diary-like.
