Synopsis

Paris, the summer of 1942. Jean and his partner Philippe keep their relationship in complete secrecy — under the Vichy government, it is a risk that needs no elaboration. When Sara, a young Jewish woman whose family was taken by the Gestapo, turns up at Jean's family laundry asking for shelter, he takes her in without hesitation. The danger arrives from within: Jean's younger brother Jacques comes home from a stint in prison and finds himself face to face with Sara, the woman he has been in love with for years. He knows what Jean is hiding. And he knows exactly what to do with that.
