Synopsis

Struggling LA actor John Person is drowning in credit card debt. His neighbour makes him a proposition: drive a blue suitcase out to the desert town of Baker, California, hand it to a man called the Cowboy, and the $27,000 tab disappears. John says yes. The Cowboy isn't there. What is there: a head-shaped package he's told to hold, a handful of locals with unsettling stares, and a woman named Ruthie whose volatile boyfriend Randy keeps suggesting John should leave.
