High Seas (Seasons 1–3)

High Seas (Alta mar, 2019) is a Spanish mystery series you can watch online on iFILM. It's 1940, and an ocean liner pulls away from Spain bound for Brazil, its decks full of people leaving the war behind. The celebration sours fast. A woman vanishes overboard, and her name appears on no passenger manifest.

Sisters Carolina and Eva Villanueva, played by Alejandra Onieva and Ivana Baquero, sit at the heart of it. The more Eva pulls at the threads behind each death, the more she learns that every cabin hides something, including her own family. Ship's officer Nicolás Sala is tangled in it far deeper than he lets on. The bodies keep turning up, and there is nowhere to run on open water.

Director Carlos Sedes shapes the show with the same lush retro touch as Grand Hotel: gleaming 1940s wardrobe, one confined setting, and a plot that unspools a single clue per episode.
