Deca-Dence (Season 1)

Deca-Dence (2020) is a post-apocalyptic anime you can watch online on iFILM. Earth has been overrun by monsters called Gadoll, and what's left of humanity lives inside a three-kilometer-tall fortress on the move.

Inside Deca-Dence, people split into two castes. Gears go out and fight; Tankers handle support work and stay out of combat. Natsume is a Tanker girl who burns to fight even though her rank forbids it. A chance run-in with Kaburagi — a gruff armor mechanic who long ago gave up on his own dreams — pulls her into something far bigger, and the comfortable order of the fortress starts to crack.

The series comes from Studio NUT with a script by Ichiro Okouchi, the writer behind Code Geass. The creature designs and action are bright and fast, but underneath the spectacle sits a sharp question about who really set the rules of this world.
