What followed was a ten-year legal grind: raids, a thirty-nine-count indictment, prison time — all over a creature that died 67 million years ago.

Miller builds the film almost entirely from the diggers' own home footage, which is why it lands so hard: you watch grown scientists weep over a fossil like it's family. It's a story about passion colliding with the fine print of federal law. Worth your time if you like documentaries where ordinary people take on a government that outguns them.
