Synopsis
The Cave of the Golden Rose 2 (Fantaghirò 2, 1992) is Lamberto Bava's Italian fantasy, free to watch online on iFILM. Warrior princess Fantaghirò is finally marrying King Romualdo, and she swears never to pick up a sword again — a vow the White Witch seals with a spell. Then a messenger rides in with terrible news.
The Black Queen cannot stand other people's joy, and love most of all. She seizes Fantaghirò's father and demands an entire kingdom as ransom. Romualdo marches off with his army, but the cunning sorceress takes on the princess's exact face, kisses the king, and wipes his memory clean. His soldiers end up captured, and her own betrothed no longer knows who she is. So Fantaghirò breaks her promise, straps the armor back on, and sets out to rescue everyone herself — including the man who forgot her.
