The 2006 season opens fast: an extradition, a collapse, then a kitchen gadget, a president who flees on holiday, and a single fifty-euro note that turns the whole stairwell against itself. From there it rolls into a loud scandal, a grim discovery inside the building's walls, a pirate radio station broadcasting from somewhere upstairs, and a funeral with a twist nobody saw coming. By the thirteenth episode the threads gather toward a goodbye — the writers knew they were closing the show and steered the tenants there on purpose. No finale spoilers here, but it's the payoff worth staying for.
