Synopsis

Stung (2015) is a German-American horror-comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Benni Diez and running 87 minutes. Matt O'Leary and Jessica Cook play a pair of caterers hired for a garden party that goes spectacularly wrong when a colony of wasps — pumped up by contaminated fertiliser to roughly the size of a man — descends on the guests.

What starts as a creature feature finds a nastier gear fast: the wasps don't just sting, they lay eggs, and what hatches from the other end is even bigger. Lance Henriksen turns up as the gravel-voiced local mayor and gets his own subplot that goes somewhere genuinely unexpected. The gore is practical, the budget is modest, and the film never pretends to be anything other than exactly what it is.

Fans of old-school creature films from the 1980s — the kind that prioritised slime and practical effects over story logic — will find Stung hits that target squarely. Stream it online on iFILM.
