Synopsis
Inequality for All (2013) is a documentary you can watch online on iFILM. Its guide is Robert Reich — former U.S. Secretary of Labor under Bill Clinton, now a Berkeley professor who walks into a lecture hall and asks why the gap between the rich and everyone else has stretched back to where it stood in the 1920s.
Reich makes economics legible. Using charts, jokes and his own story, he tracks how middle-class wages flatlined for decades while the income of the top one percent shot skyward. Director Jacob Kornbluth builds the film around Reich's classroom, his book Aftershock, and candid interviews — including wealthy investors who admit the system isn't working.
What lands is the messenger. Reich is short, funny and relentless with a graph, and that mix turns a talk about GDP into something you actually want to follow. A clear-eyed argument rather than a rant. Stream Inequality for All (2013) online on iFILM.
