Synopsis
Tempest (북극성, 2025), Season 1 is a nine-episode spy thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Seo Munju, a former UN ambassador, comes home to back a presidential candidate — and a gunshot cracks through the mass they're attending.
From there the season runs as a chase after the truth. The shooting drags up an accusation that the candidate is a North Korean spy, so Munju enters the presidential race herself to find out what really happened. Guarding her is Paik Sanho, a mercenary with a murky past and a backer no one can name. The deeper she digs, the wider it spreads: state secrets, the threat of war on the peninsula, a conspiracy whose threads reach the White House. Trust is in short supply, and every clue she pulls loose paints a fresh target on her back.
