Synopsis
Perfume (Parfum, 2018) is a German crime series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Philipp Kadelbach. A murdered pop singer is found with her scent glands surgically removed — six episodes follow the detective trying to make sense of it.
The investigation leads to a group of six former boarding school classmates who shared an obsession with smell since childhood. Detective Nadja Brent (Friederike Becht) interrogates each of them in turn. Wotan Wilke Möhring, August Diehl, and Christian Friedel play characters concealing something — the question is whether it's murder or just years of accumulated damage. The ensemble never lets the audience settle on a clean suspect.
