Synopsis
My Masterpiece (Mi obra maestra, 2018) is an Argentine-Spanish comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Gastón Duprat. Guillermo Francella plays Arturo, a slick gallery owner who can sell anything; Luis Brandoni is Renzo, his old friend — once a celebrated painter, now drinking his way to obscurity.
When both men hit a wall, Arturo hatches a plan. It's elegant in theory. In practice the scheme spirals into something far messier and riskier than either of them bargained for, and the friendship gets tested in ways money can't straighten out.
Duprat keeps the tone sharp without letting the comedy tip into farce — the script earns its dark turns. What really sells it is the chemistry between Francella and Brandoni, two actors who clearly enjoy working against each other.
