Synopsis
Season 5 of Archer — watch online on iFILM — is thirteen episodes of something the show had never done before. The FBI raids ISIS in the opening scene and shuts it down: the agency was never authorized to operate.
The staff finds a ton of cocaine in the basement. Malory makes a business decision. Season 5 (subtitled "Archer Vice") follows the crew as they move into Cheryl's mansion and attempt to sell cocaine instead of secrets. Pam becomes the operation's most enthusiastic internal customer. Cheryl rebrands as country singer Cherlene. The road takes the group through Miami, a cross-country bus trip, Colombian jungles, a river full of crocodiles, and a Central American country where Cyril briefly becomes head of state. Lana's pregnancy reaches its conclusion in the finale. This is FX's biggest format gamble with the series — a full season without a single spy mission — and the only time they tried it.
