Hamtaro (とっとこハム太郎, 2000) is a Japanese anime series you can watch online on iFILM, based on Riyoko Mai's manga. Laura's pet hamster Hamtaro is curious, fast, and not content to spend his days in a cage.

When Laura moves to a new neighbourhood, Hamtaro discovers a gang of hamsters living nearby. Together they squeeze through fences, map out the streets, and try to solve whatever problem Laura and her friends have run into that day. Each episode tells its own small story, and the show's real subject isn't adventure but friendship — how to apologise, how to cheer someone up, what loyalty looks like at hamster scale.
