Synopsis
Out of season, the Korean resort town of Sokcho empties to grey skies and snow. That hush sets the mood for Winter in Sokcho (Hiver à Sokcho, 2025), a French-Korean drama you can watch online on iFILM. Soo-Ha, twenty-five, works the front desk of a near-empty guesthouse, caught between her mother's fish stall and a boyfriend she barely feels anything for.
Then a French artist checks in. He sketches in ink, speaks almost no Korean, and somehow pulls Soo-Ha out of her routine. Their bond stays unspoken — built from shared meals, half-finished drawings and long silences rather than confessions. Through him she starts circling the questions she keeps avoiding: her mixed heritage, her body, the town she has never left. Roschdy Zem plays the artist, Kim Ga-hyun plays Soo-Ha.
