Synopsis
Chernobyl Diaries (2012) is a found-footage horror film directed by Bradley Parker — stream it online on iFILM. Six tourists hire an extreme tour guide for an off-limits excursion into Pripyat, the ghost town that emptied overnight after the nuclear disaster of 1986.
The rusted Ferris wheel, the silent apartment blocks, the overgrown playground — everything feels eerie but dead. Then the van breaks down. Night falls. And something in the buildings starts moving. Olivia Taylor Dudley, Jesse McCartney and the rest of the group discover that "abandoned" was never quite the right word for this place.
The script came from Oren Peli, the creator of Paranormal Activity, which explains the lo-fi dread the film goes for. Shot in Serbia and Hungary on locations dressed to look the part. Watch Chernobyl Diaries online on iFILM if urban decay and radiation-zone paranoia are your kind of horror fuel.
