Synopsis
Falling for Vermont (2017) is a romantic TV movie you can watch online on iFILM. YA author Angela Young is burnt out from the publicity machine around her latest book and decides to disappear — no schedule, no manager. A car accident in rural Vermont leaves her with no memory and no phone, in the care of a local doctor and his young daughter.
Julie Gonzalo plays Angela piecing herself back together without her career as a reference point. Benjamin Ayres is the doctor who hasn't quite moved on from his own past. Director David Winning lets the Vermont autumn do some of the work, and the pacing is gentler than the premise — this is a film about what happens when the noise stops, and that requires quiet.
