The Prince

The Prince (El príncipe, 2019) is a Chilean prison drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Sebastián Muñoz. It's 1970, Chile. Jaime, twenty years old, ends up sentenced after killing his best friend during a drunken night. Inside, he has nothing — no money, no allies, no idea what he's walking into.

Protection comes from an older inmate called The Stallion. Alfredo Castro plays him with a stillness that makes the dynamic between the two men deliberately hard to read. What starts as patronage edges into something more complicated: loyalty, dependency, intimacy — the way care and control can look identical from the inside.
