Synopsis
Chance at Romance (2013), a TV holiday movie directed by Bradford May, is available to watch online on iFILM. Samantha Hart (Erin Krakow) matches online with widowed photographer Heath Madsen (Ryan McPartlin) and flies out to meet him for a romantic weekend — only to discover on arrival that Heath's twelve-year-old daughter was the one running the correspondence the whole time, playing matchmaker for her dad.
Samantha can't leave immediately; a snowstorm settles in and keeps her there through the week. The setup is a familiar Hallmark formula — misunderstanding, forced proximity, gradual thaw — and the film doesn't try to be anything else. Krakow and McPartlin are likeable enough to carry it. Patricia Richardson and Jean Louisa Kelly appear in supporting roles. The kind of watch that works best when you already know roughly where it's going.
