Sahir's father ran a circus in Chicago. When a ruthless banker drove the business into the ground, his father took his own life. Now grown and trained in acrobatics, illusion and motorcycle stunts, Sahir is robbing branches of that same bank with a style no one can explain or stop. Inspector Jai Dixit flies in from Mumbai to crack the case — and finds the thief keeps escaping in ways that defy logic.

Khan carries a dual role here that reveals itself gradually; the reveal is the film's real engine. The motorcycle chases were shot on actual Chicago streets and are among the most kinetic sequences Bollywood produced that decade.
