Synopsis
Romuald & Juliette (1989), a French comedy directed by Coline Serreau, is a film you can watch online on iFILM. Romuald (Daniel Auteuil) runs a dairy company and thinks he has things in hand — until a yogurt poisoning scandal lands on his desk, financial investigators start circling, and he discovers his wife has been with a colleague.
The one person who saw it coming is Juliette (Firmine Richard), the office cleaner who raised five children alone and whom nobody ever thought to listen to. Serreau inverts the usual comic setup: the man in the corner office has to take shelter in the apartment of the woman who mops his floors, and slowly realises what he owed her long before any of this started.
