Synopsis
Tony (2010) is a British horror-thriller you can watch online on iFILM, written and directed by Gerard Johnson in his feature debut. Shot on almost no budget in a South London council block, the film follows Tony — played by Peter Ferdinando — an unemployed man in his late thirties who fills his days watching VHS action tapes and barely speaks to anyone.
The dealers and sex workers who drift around his estate are the closest thing he has to company. Nobody asks what happens to the ones he invites inside. Not until a child goes missing nearby and neighbours start paying attention to the man they'd always ignored.
Ferdinando plays Tony as someone entirely unremarkable — no menacing glare, no dramatic reveal, just a man who wouldn't stand out in a queue. Neil Maskell appears in support. At 76 minutes with almost no score, the film lets silence carry most of the weight. Stream Tony (2010) online on iFILM.
