A detective called Singapore Sling is hunting for a woman who disappeared. One stormy night he finds himself at a remote villa, watching a mother and daughter bury a body in the garden. He crawls inside wounded, and they trap him. They name him after a cocktail and draw him into their rituals — a sustained loop of erotic games, cruelty and murder that the film stages as both horror and pitch-black farce.
Shot in stark, high-contrast black-and-white and structured like a nightmare reworking of classic noir, it sits outside any comfortable genre category.
