Synopsis

Director Lynsey Miller skips the pageantry and shoots this almost as a psychological thriller told from Anne's side of the room. The camera rarely leaves her face, so the collapse of her standing lands as something she feels rather than something a narrator explains.
Across three tight episodes the real stake isn't power but the future of her daughter, a young Elizabeth who will one day rule on her own terms.
