Bhediya

Bhediya (2022) is an Indian horror-comedy about a werewolf, and you can watch online in high quality on iFILM. A road contractor heads into the jungle to build a highway, a wild animal sinks its teeth into him, and after dark he stops being himself.

Bhaskar takes on a road meant to cut through the dense forests of Ziro in Arunachal Pradesh. The local tribes resist him, and the spirits of the woods even more so. After that bite from something no one can name, gruesome deaths start piling up, and Bhaskar notices that each full moon wakes a fanged thing inside him. With a bumbling band of friends he tries to work out whether it's a delusion, a tribal tale, or the old werewolf legend made flesh. Laughs, gore and a green message run side by side.

Director Amar Kaushik, who made Stree, expands his horror universe here, with Varun Dhawan in the lead alongside Kriti Sanon and Abhishek Banerjee. Shot in the real forests of northeast India, it tells its scary story with trademark Bollywood wit. It's a treat for anyone who wants a monster movie with jokes and a heart.
