Synopsis

Todd Hewitt (Tom Holland) has grown up in a settlement with no women and no way to hide what runs through his head. That changes when a scout ship crashes nearby and Viola (Daisy Ridley) climbs out of the wreck. She is the first girl he has ever seen, and her mind stays silent, which throws him completely. Mayor Prentiss (Mads Mikkelsen) wants the outsider for his own ends, so Todd and Viola run across the planet's badlands while Prentiss and his men close in. David Oyelowo and Demian Bichir round out the chase.
