Synopsis
Utopia Season 2 (2014) — six episodes on Channel 4, watch online on iFILM. Three months on from the manuscript's destruction, Ian, Becky and Wilson are trying to convince themselves it's over. It isn't.
The season opens a second timeline: 1974, where a young Milner meets the brilliant and increasingly unstable Philip Carvel, and the two begin something that will outlast both of them. Back in the present, Jessica is held captive and tortured for the modification Carvel made to the Janus formula. Arby has built a quiet life with a family and believes he is out. Nobody is out. At the centre of it all: a weaponised virus, real in its threat and closer to release than anyone admits. Season 2 widens the conspiracy's origin story and hits harder than the first. Following the revelation that her father's alive, Jessica sets off to find him, with hostage Milner in tow. Wilson and Leah analyse their information and discover a far darker, more terrifying secret.

In the final episode the race is on to find out who is going to release the flu. The gang track down Dobri Gorski, where he tells them the names of the three people he trained to release the flu.
