Synopsis
Plebs (2013), Season 5 is the British sitcom you can watch online on iFILM — eight episodes set in the grubby outskirts of ancient Rome, where slacking off is a full-time job.
The line-up shifts this time: Jason now runs around with Marcus and Grumio, and the trouble doesn't ease up. The boys drive to Tuscany for wine and come back hooked on truffles, crash a snooty banquet, try to muscle into a gang of chariot hooligans, and start digging up the bar floor after Grumio finds an old brooch. By the end they're evicted from the flat with no warning, and a family wedding gives Grumio the chance to play planner.
ITV2's show keeps its one good trick — togas and chariots wrapped around very modern losers. Season 5 turned out to be the last, and it plays like a goodbye: smaller stakes, a softer tone. Stream Plebs Season 5 online on iFILM.

The boys set off on a wine-buying trip to Tuscany, but a cart collision sees Jason hooking up with a local milk maid and Grumio developing a taste for foraged truffles.

Marcus offers to tutor Gloria's teenage son Barney, who's struggling at school, while Jason gives him coaching in his own specialist subject, romance.

The boys gate-crash a posh banquet, where Marcus tries to win favour with the host, Jason seduces a bored aristocrat and Grumio overhears a poison plot.

There's a heatwave in Rome and Marcus has invested in a new gimmick for the bar - ice. Plus, Grumio develops a hat-parasol hybrid, which attracts attention.

The boys attempt to infiltrate a local firm of chariot hooligans in order to get some big drinkers into their bar.

The boys begin an archaeological dig in their bar after Grumio unearths an old brooch whilst sitting on the loo.
S5·E7The New Flat
The boys face uncertainty when Landlord evicts them without notice from their flat. Marcus hopes his parents, who are visiting for the weekend, will help him onto the property ladder.
S5·E8The Wedding
Jason's brother Darius is getting married and Marcus desperately wants to hire out the Crown and Toga for the occasion, while Grumio offers his services as wedding planner.
