Synopsis
Once Upon a Time in London (2019) is a British crime film you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Simon Rumley. It dramatises the real careers of Billy Hill and Jack 'Spot' Comer — two men who controlled London's criminal underworld through the late 1940s and into the mid-1950s, until their partnership collapsed into open warfare.
Terry Stone plays Billy Hill and Leo Gregory is Jack 'Spot', with Holly Earl and Jamie Foreman in support. The film traces how they built a nationwide rackets operation from scratch — gambling, robberies, territory — and how ego, ambition and shifting loyalty pulled it apart. Their combined reign, as the film frames it, laid the groundwork for the Kray twins who came next.
