Synopsis
You can watch Baptiste (2019) Season 1 online on iFILM — a six-episode BBC crime drama, the spin-off of The Missing that follows French detective Julien Baptiste. A trip to Amsterdam turns into anything but a holiday.
Asked quietly to trace a missing woman from the red-light district, Natalie Rose, Baptiste (Tchéky Karyo) finds a simple favour folding open. Her uncle Edward — Tom Hollander — is lying about who he is, a Romanian crime syndicate called the Brigada works the canals' underside, and a personal bombshell drags Julien back into his own past. The deeper he digs, the steeper the cost, for the case and for his family alike.
Writers Harry and Jack Williams build the season as a tightening noose rather than a procedural, with Fiona Shaw as a glacial intelligence handler. Karyo plays exhaustion instead of heroics, and it grips harder than any chase. Stream Baptiste Season 1 online on iFILM.
