Synopsis
Blackout (2008) is a claustrophobic horror thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Director Rigoberto Castañeda traps three strangers inside a stalled elevator in an empty building, and a routine breakdown turns into a snare nobody can open.
Each of them was in a hurry. Claudia (Amber Tamblyn) races to a hospital where her grandmother is dying. Tommy (a young Armie Hammer) wants to pull his girlfriend out of a home ruled by her violent, drunk father. Quiet Carl (Aidan Gillen) needs to get back before his wife returns and discover what he left behind. The lift jams between floors, the phones go dead, and over a tight eighty minutes forced proximity becomes a fight to stay alive.
