Synopsis

The Radleys have committed to going dry — no feeding, pills against the sun, a quiet life in a leafy town. Teenagers Clara and Rowan don't even know what they are. Then Clara loses control while defending herself, and the secret spills out. Enter Uncle Will, a vampire with no such scruples, and the family's careful suburban routine begins to come apart at the seams. Damian Lewis pulls double duty as both the mild patriarch and his dangerous brother, while Kelly Macdonald plays the mother holding it all together.
It's a vampire tale repurposed as satire of buttoned-up middle-class respectability — repressed cravings and the cost of keeping up appearances.
