Synopsis
Thuppakki (2012) is the Tamil-language action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Captain Jagadish, an Indian Army intelligence officer, heads to Mumbai for a holiday — and watches a bomb tear through a city bus right in front of him.
Digging into the blast, Jagadish uncovers a web of sleeper agents: dozens of recruits living ordinary lives, each waiting for a single order to launch coordinated attacks across the city. With no official backing, he pulls together a crew of friends and starts dismantling the cells one by one, aiming to leave the network leaderless and stranded — waiting for commands that will never come. He is willing to die to finish the job.
Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the film stars Tamil superstar Vijay, with Kajal Aggarwal and Vidyut Jammwal as the cold-blooded mastermind. It runs nearly three hours, as a proper Indian blockbuster should: chases, staged brawls, songs and a surprisingly tight script about one man declaring war on terror.
