Tenet (2020) is Christopher Nolan's espionage thriller you can watch online on iFILM. John David Washington plays a CIA operative known only as the Protagonist — no name, one word of instruction, and a mission framed as the difference between the world continuing or not.

The technology at the center of the plot is inversion: objects and people moving backward through time while the world around them moves forward. Bullets fly back into guns. Fights unspool in reverse. Robert Pattinson plays a smooth operator whose allegiances stay deliberately blurred; Elizabeth Debicki is a woman trapped by Andrei Sator (Kenneth Branagh), a Russian arms dealer with access to future weaponry and no particular reason to stop using it. Michael Caine appears in a brief scene that carries more weight than its runtime suggests. Shooting took place across seven countries, and Ludwig Göransson composed the score — replacing Nolan's long-time collaborator Hans Zimmer for the first time in years.
