Synopsis
South Korean director Noh Dong-seok's Golden Slumber (골든슬럼버, 2018) is a chase thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Delivery man Kim Geon-woo once helped a pop star during an attack and spent an afternoon being celebrated across the country. Months later, a presidential candidate is shot dead in his vicinity, and the footage puts him at the scene.
Kang Dong-won plays a man with no criminal record and no plan, suddenly running from both the government and the police. The film is adapted from Kotaro Isaka's Japanese novel of the same name, which gives the plot structural tidiness rare in the genre — the conspiracy has internal logic, the supporting cast actually matters, and Han Hyo-joo's role carries more emotional weight than the setup suggests.
