Synopsis
Season 5 of Mrs Brown's Boys (2011) is here to watch online on iFILM — four fresh episodes of the British-Irish sitcom built around Dublin's sharpest-tongued mammy. The Finglas house is as crowded and chaotic as ever, with Agnes Brown at the centre of it all.
Each episode drops the family into a new scrape. First Agnes blunders into daughter Cathy's podcast and turns into an overnight audio star without setting foot outside. Then Grandad announces he's moving out, throwing the house into a panic, while Foley's stages another shambolic talent night. Later Agnes takes it on herself to teach Winnie to drive, putting half of Finglas in harm's way. The run closes with Agnes crashing Cathy's book club, where a randomly grabbed novel reveals her surprising taste for steamy romance — much to the group's alarm.
Brendan O'Carroll again writes the scripts and plays Agnes in a frock, surrounded by his actual family and friends. The comedy stays broad, loud and unsubtle, but it's played live and it lands. Stream Mrs Brown's Boys Season 5 online on iFILM.
